WHO IS THE CHURCH OF CHRIST? 

As we look at the many religious groups in the world today, we can become confused. The church of Christ is simply those who Jesus placed into His church by their obedience to Him (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38, 41, 47; Colossians 1:13-14)

We are only accountable to Jesus Christ - The church of Christ is not affiliated with any denomination; its worship, its work, its teaching is not supervised by any council or board of directors. It is only accountable to God through Jesus Christ our savior (Matthew 28:18; Ephesians 1:20-23).

Our only standard of authority is the Bible - Many religous groups have various creeds, bylaws, etc. to govern what they teach and practice. Our standard is the Bible and only the Bible. We never change the Bible to fit our lifestyle, but change our lifestyle to fit the never changing word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17).

OUR PURPOSE

We are trying to follow the instruction Jesus has given (Matthew 28:19-20). We want the opportunity to help you in establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ through obedience to His plan and not one of your own. We want to study the Bible with you in a setting to make you as comfortable as possible:

​

We only do what the Bible authorizes us to do. Our worship is patterned after what we can find in our New Testament. We give book, chapter and verse for everything we do.

​

We have a series of lessons that can be mailed to you so that you can study at your own pace.

​

We have material on various Bible subjects that can be made available to you upon your request.

​

We would be happy to come to your home or a place comfortable to you and have a Bible study.

​

Sunday morning at 9:30 AM and Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM we have Bible classes for all ages where we invite Bible questions, and only give Bible answers.

​

Sunday at 10:15 AM & 6:00 PM - We invite you to attend our Worship services where you will not be asked to give anything but your undivided attention. 

​

All these things we want to make available to you at no cost that it may help you in your study of the Bible.

OUR CONCERN FOR YOU

The world can be pretty cold at times, and may cause you to wonder if anyone cares anymore. Please know that as Christians WE CARE ABOUT YOU:

We care about your soul - Our soul is the most precious possession we have. We are concerned about your soul. Jesus said, "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and loose his own soul." Matthew 16:26).

​

We care about your problems - There is one thing every person has in common, and that is problems, and at times we need help with our problems. Our desire as Christians is to listen and help you by directing you to the Bible for answers to those problems. 

​

We wan to encourage you to become a fellow citizen in the kingdom of Christ, and seek with us that eternal home with God. Please come and study with us.
